Laurie is pretty sure love at first sight doesn't exist anywhere but the movies. But then, through a misted-up bus window one snowy December day, she sees a man who she knows instantly is the one. It absolutely charmed me.”-Reese Witherspoon (A Reese Witherspoon x Hello Sunshine Book Club Pick)

“Get ready to be swept up in a whirlwind romance. Josie Silver’s characters sneak their way into your heart and stay.”-Jill Santopolo, author of The Light We Lost

Her beautiful friendship with Sarah was definitely one of the highlights as well as the honesty this book illustrate about relationships and life in general. Laurie reminds me of me, not in her love story way but personality wise and I think that's why I resonated with her. The English slang took me a while to understand thank God for Google and now I have new words to call my friends. One Day In December took me by surprise, I honestly didn't see myself liking it and I remember being annoyed with it's slow pace at the beginning.
